The story of low interest rates and tight inventory continues to drive high activity in the local real estate market in early 2021.

Savvy homeowners who were considering a move in their future are opting to sell now to take advantage of the busy market and get the most return for their property.

- 374 units sold in January and February of this year compared to 313 during the same time last year

- The number of units sold continued to outpace the number of new listings entering the market, resulting in a fast-paced market with days on market dropping to 42, a decrease from 65 in January and February 2020

- The average sold median price in January and February was $320,000, an increase from $300,000 in January and February 2020
